Curriculum Intent

We aim to create a positive learning environment that builds relationships to support, enhance and encourage children’s curiosity, confidence, independence and individual ability to develop.

We want our childre to be:

Happy Learners

We facilitate a positive and enthusiastic attitude to learning, so that children are both physically and emotionally ready to explore.

Creative Thinkers

We encourage our children to be curious, show initiative and ask questions, to enable them to reflect on their learning and with their own ideas.

Skillful Communicators

Our children play in a language-rich environment to allow them to be ready to connect with others through language and play.

Go Getters

We support our children to become resilient and prepared to keep trying, to be able to persevere and stay involved in their learning, even when they find it tricky or challenging.

The EYFS

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a statutory government framework that sets out standards for learning, development and welfare of children from birth to five years.

Curriculum Implementation

We offer a curriculum that excites and motivates children to never stop learning. We develop skills through play
based, child-led enrichment opportunities throughout the day.

Learning & Development

Our play-based curriculum ensures children are well prepared to transition to school. We link their learning experiences to the 7 areas of learning and development, as laid out in the EYFS.
